National Cyber Security Center and Korea Information Security Agency (KISA, CEO Joong Yeon Hwang) have decided to share and disseminate crytography technology SEED and ARIA from January 21st as a part of collaboration effort to promote the use of Korean cryptography technology.

SEED and ARIA are Korean cryptography algorithm used widely in non-governmental and public sectors, and they will be disseminated by both organizations to ease the inconveniences the users have faced at obtaining the source code of SEED and ARIA.

Furthermore, NCSC an KISA will carry out joint publicity to encourage the use of Korean cryptography technology. This effort is significant in that KISA, who has been trying hard for a long time to make SEED a standard and activate its use in non-governmental sector, and NCSC, who is responsible for cryptography in the public sector have entered collaboration.
